Educational Background

  • Msc. Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, University of Barcelona (2010)
  • Msc. Formación de Profesorado de Educación Secundaria, International University of La Rioja (2010)
  • Bsc. Physics, University of Barcelona (2009)

Research Interests

My field of expertise includes the study of crystals under extreme conditions of pressure and temperature by means of half a dozen spectroscopic techniques and synchrotron x-ray diffraction. Currently focused on hyperspectral imaging of rocks and minerals from both, data analysis and technical perspectives.

  • Hyperspectral imaging and remote sensing
  • High-pressure physics
  • X-ray diffraction
  • Optical spectroscopies
    • Raman spectroscopy
    • FTIR spectroscopy
    • Optical absorption and reflectance
    • Photoluminescence
    • Modulated spectroscopies such as photoreflectance
    • Brillouin spectroscopy
