Research Interests

Diseño y realización de modelos de procesos volcánicos tanto análogos como numéricos especialmente enfocados al estudio de las calderas de colapso. Realización y mantenimiento de la CCDB (Collapse Caldera DataBase) (http://www.gvb-csic.es/CCDB.htm). Actualmente trabaja en el volcanismo histório de la caldera de la isla Decepción (Antártida) y en la evaluación de la peligrosidad volcánica en la misma.

Persona encargada de la página web de la IAVCEI (International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior).

Member of the Applied Volcanology Team.
